Creative Learning Newsletter
Fall 2010
Our beautiful summer of 2010 is over and we hope everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The summer activity program at Creative Learning was a huge success with great attendance. The fund raising campaign for Grandmothers for Africa is already just over $2000 because of you and we are still contributing so we thank you for your support.
Excitement is building here at Creative Learning as we begin our back of store renovations to the exterior which give it a fresh new look matching the front of the store. We will have to ask you to use the front entrance only for 3-4 weeks as the work is being done.
As members of the Neighbourhood Toy Stores of Canada, we pride ourselves on giving you great service and having excellent product knowledge. We are the Toy Experts and love to help you find just the right toy for that special child or that special occasion. One resource that you may find helpful is the 2010 Gold Star Award winners. These awards are chosen annually by independent toy retailers from across Canada, including Creative Learning. The list will be posted on our website, www.creativelearning.ca and you can also find it at www.netscanada.org. Watch for our 2010 Christmas catalogue (produced cooperatively with our association) which will be delivered in the North Bay Nugget near the end of October. We will have extra copies available for pick up in the store. It will definitely have some great ideas for all of the children on your list.
There are so many new products here or coming that we can't name them all but they include all areas of the store from building toys to baby toys. Don't forget the Series Two Gogo Crazy Bones arrive at the end of September and Silly Bands are taking off even with high school age kids.
Many of our annual promotions are back and we encourage you to take advantage of some great deals on Thomas Wooden Railway system, Schleich, Playmobil and Calico Critters.
Winner of the Schleich Photo Contest: Miss Victoria Bidal wins the $100 gift card from Creative Learning. Please take the time to come in and see the remarkable effort of her submissions. We would like to thank everyone for participating and hope you enjoyed yourselves.
