About Creative Learning

Creative Learning truly is "your neighborhood toy store". Established in 1988 in downtown North Bay, Ontario Canada, our 3500 square foot toy / teacher store features educational toys, games and award winning children's books. We also have an impressive selection of curriculum based resources for school and home use. Throughout our store, there are interactive play centers for customers to try out the toys, or as one parent recently joked, "so the parents can play and the kids can shop". 

In January 2002 we were chosen as Toy Retailer of the Year by Toys and Games Magazine. This prestigious honour was preceded by the Small Business of the Year Award in December 1999 as selected by the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce.

We are also an active member of the Neighborhood Toy Stores of Canada, which is a group of independently owned toy stores from across Canada, whose primary mandate is to provide the best in educational toys and games, and the associated expertise and advice to our customers and consumers in general.
